Returns, Refunds & Replacements

PPE CART Australia returns: eligible unused standard workwear within 30 days, safety and hygiene exclusions, and Australian Consumer Law remedies.

Last updated: 9 October 2026.

This policy applies to Australian orders supplied by Triotex International PTY LTD (ABN 24 681 467 934) through PPE CART Australia. Change-of-mind returns are offered only for the eligible products below. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply separately.

Faulty, unsafe, incorrect or misdescribed products

Contact PPE CART if an item is faulty, unsafe, not as described, incorrectly supplied or missing. Stop using equipment that may be unsafe. We are your first contact for a remedy; you do not need to obtain a manufacturer's approval before contacting us.

For a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you can choose a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we may repair the item or provide another appropriate remedy within a reasonable time. If the problem is not remedied within a reasonable time, further rights may apply. Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss may also be available.

Consumer guarantees can apply to business purchases as well as personal purchases. A manufacturer's warranty, sale price, customisation or expiry of our optional return period does not remove rights that apply by law.

30-day change-of-mind returns for standard workwear

You may request a refund or size exchange within 30 calendar days of delivery for standard, unbranded workwear: shirts, polos, trousers, shorts, jackets, vests and coveralls, provided the product is not within an exclusion below.

Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered and clean, with original tags and packaging intact, in a condition suitable for resale. A brief indoor fit check of standard clothing is acceptable if it leaves no wear, odour, marks or damage. Keep your order reference or other proof of purchase.

Contact us before returning the goods so we can confirm eligibility and provide the correct return address. Send an approved change-of-mind return within 14 calendar days of receiving those instructions. Approval is based on these stated conditions, not a supplier's discretionary decision.

Products excluded from change-of-mind returns

  • Printed, embroidered, personalised, logo-branded or made-to-order products.
  • Special-order products identified as non-returnable before purchase, including products procured to an agreed custom specification.
  • Disposable or single-use PPE; opened, unsealed or hygiene-sensitive respiratory, eye, hearing and skin-contact protection.
  • Respirator masks, filters and cartridges; fall-arrest and rescue equipment; gas detection equipment and accessories; safety footwear; and specialist protective suits.
  • Any item used, washed, altered, contaminated, damaged after delivery or missing its required tags or packaging.

These exclusions apply only to change-of-mind returns. They do not prevent a claim for a defect, an incorrect supply or another failure covered by the Australian Consumer Law. Standard workwear is not excluded merely because it was bought in bulk or on sale.

How to request help

Sign in, open your order and under Support & returns choose Contact support or Request return / replacement. Guest purchasers can sign in or activate the account linked to their order to use the support portal. You can also use our Contact page or email hello@ppecart.com without creating an account.

Include your order reference, affected items and quantities, the issue and your preferred resolution. Photos of the item, label and packaging help with delivery damage and incorrect goods. Please report visible damage or missing items promptly, ideally within seven days, so we can investigate. This is a request for prompt notice, not a deadline for statutory claims.

Keep unsafe or damaged products separate. We will advise how to return them safely. Original packaging or a video is not a condition of a statutory remedy; reasonable proof of purchase is sufficient to start a claim.

Returns must first be arranged through our Support Portal or support team. After assessment, we supply the appropriate return instructions and return address privately. Our dispatch premises are not a customer-facing shop: no walk-ins or customer collection are available. Do not visit or send goods to a business address without agreed return instructions.

Return costs, refunds and exchanges

For an eligible change-of-mind return, you pay return postage. Use a tracked service and pack goods securely. We charge no restocking fee. The refund is the amount paid for the returned goods, allowing for the actual discount allocated to them. Original delivery charges are not refunded for change of mind. We do not retrospectively deduct free outbound delivery costs from that refund.

For faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise non-compliant goods, we arrange return instructions and cover reasonable return costs where required by law, including reimbursing reasonable costs already paid once the problem is confirmed. We do not charge a restocking fee for these claims. Delivery-charge refunds and other remedies are assessed under applicable law.

We aim to assess returned goods and process an approved refund within five business days of receipt and inspection. Bank or payment-provider posting can take additional time. Refunds normally go to the original payment method; store credit is only used if you agree. Exchanges depend on stock and may require a new order. A support request does not automatically issue a refund.
